yes... to me it is a moment when the anguish begins to be released a bit, perhaps for no other reason than that the energy it requires cannot be maintained. a sort of visual sigh - on both sides.
but did you consider them the other way around, so the figure looks like it's trying to hear the no-sound of the leaves gently falling through an imagined wall?
i tried. other than the graphic disturbance it created, it changed the initial intention that i had. your idea is very interesting though. i may try it with another set of similar images. i will tell you if i have something. thanks Dafydd :)
