round and round

  1. at first this kaleidoscopic looked like a multitude of moons , but after a closer look i suspect the pictures seem to be taken from a mill or somewhere - there seems to be grains ( of wheat ? ) Images within ´moons´ seem to include a temple , a rooster and on the central image some primitive looking markings that are a bit difficult to interpretate - birds legs maybe ?
I´m curious to hear where these are from , looks very interesting . An ancient mill perhaps ?

    1. those are also wooden pannels, used as a separation between a parking and the building next to it. the circles are decorative i guess but this orange substance is construction cement. must be on it accidentally. the texture is very weird, i touched it to see what it was but i'm still not sure how and why it looks that way

    2. these are something so modern ? I couldn´t have quessed . anyways , with your title and kaleidoscopic , that gives images a motion , this resembles some ancient ritual mill , with a part of science fiction , with those metallic blue robot arms :) , nothings too simple ( yet in a way it is ) and that´s what i like

  2. this is a great K, Hanan. nice colors and those straight lines seem to be vanes turning counter-clockwise because of the way you assembled it. really well done. interesting source material too. <3

    2. that's funny you say that, i sometimes have the same thought when making collage - "oh this piece will look good and people will like it, do i really want to add it on and glue it down?"! but i've made good pieces when i let myself do it - the good easy way, as you say <3
