Wow , to this elongated and abstracted human figure . Is she descending the stairs ? there is no stairway to be seen but diagonal line suggests a railing .. it´s so abstracted that it could be anything but it refers to a downward motion . When the human figure is scrutiniced closely it seems she´s not descenting , but walking on a level ground , so ´down that road ´ must be a symbolist thing here . Kore descending to the Hades before becoming Persefone ;) or then again maybe walking to a sunny meadows , just fooling us , after all she´s on the level ground .
i'm never so symbolic in my images, at least not in my intentions. must be lying somewhere in the subconscious mind, though. it's a drawing on a wooden pannel, of a woman. the descending part is just strong perspective on a horizontal line. i'm fooling you, not she, after all.
