i always thought of that Lennon song as super naive , but his gentle expression makes me almost believe in such things - it´s like miracle there´s been so many people protesting for so long , yet there´s been very little violence compared to that - )
i almost wanted to hug him and to tell him yes it's possible, when i knew it's not. i think he knows it too, but like Lennon he wants to dream it anyway. it's the 12th day, and aside of some (organized) disturbances, people are showing much more love than hatred. <3
great shot. the amazing depth of Lennon's song. its seeming naivete was deliberate on Lennon's part. he also wrote the very bitter "Working Class Hero." whatever kind of song was needed to get us to stop and think, he tried.
if it only worked on some people it had served its purpose. it's been alive for so many years for the naive and others... i love his expression, very much wiser and softer than his age
