very beautiful. a feeling of descent into silence, and of calm, but the cool colors keep the viewer somewhat on guard - this is not complete peace, i think.
yes, there's a "classical" feeling to your face, and the way the image is framed implies so much more. it's a nice effect and fits the title... so much unsaid, beyond the frame.
A couple of days ago when i saw this first time i saw only abstraction . I was looking at the light and shadows and thought what is it ? Then imagined seeing a long shadow of a human figure at the floor of the house in it . Only after reading the comments i understood it was your selfpotrait . Seeing this was one of the reasons making ´presence ´ .. i´m too abstract , seeing only abstraction where one is supposed to see human , there must be frost in my weins ..
there is frost in this image. very cold inspite of the human presence. when i made it and saved it first, i named it Freaky self :) the face is tender but the colors and too much abstraction makes it non accessible to emotions, as i see it myself
then it´s ingenious work . And i was a little worried about my good senses and poor sanity ;) , seeing what´s not there and not seeing what was there - some times scary and weird things happen around the art , and then the art is at it´s best . :)
no , i´m just telling stories , but if i look at the screen from the certain angle i can´t see your picture , just light and shadows , and that´s how i saw this first time .
no prob , as i said earlier .. i have considered starting my own blog , but it´s been too much trouble this far , i created new gallery folder instead . yeps ,i also considered commenting some of your old stuff on the blogs , but suspected there might be some problem with the informing on the comments so i did not bother to do so , it was some old Lebwalking , nice stuff there .. :) .

ReplyDeleteyou said all what i felt about this image.
