nice effect with macro lens - everything that´s not directly in focus and very close seem blurred and abstracted . loss of detail draws attention to colors that are very beautiful - up close in the leaves i see drops of dew , nice detail :)
it rained all night, must be that! (you have good eyes :D) yes, the colors...we woke up to a red sky today. my husband said we are going to have an earthquake. or maybe it's the facing building (dirty old facades ;))
this is beautiful - those lovely little blue flowers standing out from the dark green and neutral color. and you need a wee lad to carry your heavy lens (that's a joke from the Irish side of Beverly's family, whenever something is too heavy you get a wee lad to carry it for you)
i must be a lazy irish then :) those are jasmin flowers, but with the red sky they turned blue. i left the image alone, didn't play with the colors. i love the beginning of winter... first rain, first winter lights. but then it gets nasty...
